The Cornell Small Farms Grassland Utilization Team and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County New York present this video which illustrates the correct ways to set and pound fence posts used in high tensile electric fencing systems. The building of fence braces and corners is also shown in detail. Well built high tensile electric fence systems require lower maintenance over the years once they are established. They are one of the key components of a successful grazing system for any class of livestock such as dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats, and horses.
