    just joking, not starting an arguement, but my very small club likes to make fun of epee as it is the “barbaric fencing without rules” (cause you guys don’t have right of way)

    Gotta say, he did pretty well at London 2012. Even better when he and the rest of the USA team fought in Mens Team Foil. They fought for the bronze medal against Germany. They eliminated France too.

    I’m not going to knock what these guys do, it looks challenging and they like it. But if you search for: Zornhau (uploaded by Anton Kohutovič) on youtube you might find something more like what you are looking for. What you will be seeing is usually called HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) or sometimes historical fencing. But be mature and don’t disrespect these sport fencer’s hard work just because it “annoys you”.

    1 of my fencing clubs fencers was standing next to imboden on the metal pedestal. Pretty sweet .
